Paint Place was officially formed in December of 1987 by four blokes with their own paint stores looking to provide unity and protection for independent paint specialists. From then, 'Your Local Paint Place' was born.

Our core mission and values haven't changed since then — we're still all about paint and all about independence... and we'll always be your local.

In 2022, Paint Place and Central Purchasing Services joined forces to reignite Paint Place, invigorate the profitability of stores, and ensure a rich and vibrant future for independent paint specialists around Australia.

Today, Paint Place has 2 stores nationwide and stands proud as an independent paint store that provides not only unparalleled service and advice to our customers, but expertise, a great culture, and a resilient and stable network to our stores and members.
