We opened in August 1992 and the owner is, Danny Slade, working with his daughter as a third generation Paint Place member and person to work in the Independent Paint Specialist industry. Danny’s Father, Pat Slade was an inaugural member of Paint Place.

We have always donated to and supported the community sporting teams – we take much pride in being able to help and support our local youth teams.

At the Noosa store – We have many displays including Benjamin Moore colours, Rockcote Renders and Textures display along with all of the Taubmans Colours and Luxury Colours on display with samples available. We pride ourselves on being able to provide actual samples of many of our timber stains and clear finishes. To help people make choices on the actual finished product.

Danny has been in the local paint industry for over 30 years with a combined mix of over 40 years of knowledge with Shelby being the third generation of Slade’s in the business. We also have an extensive range of local tradespeople in the paint, render and general building industries which we are able to direct our clients to and to tailor the needs of the client with the appropriate Tradesmen and Tradeswomen to get the best value and outcomes.
