The winter is finally over and it’s time to welcome Spring! We are seeing a lot of new trends pop up and are excited to share what we predict we’ll be seeing a lot of in our interiors over the coming months.
Limewash
There is no doubt about it – limewash walls in a variety of neutrals are taking over the interiors right now. Although limewashing walls traditionally can be quite a process, there are some painting techniques and paints that can give off a similar effect. The shadowy, mottled texture exudes calm, style and class, and really adds a level of dimension to any space.
Pure Off White
A classic white wall will never go away, but we are really seeing popularity rise with a pure off white. By using this tone, you are able to eliminate any warm tones and really open up your space to light and brightness, that makes décor and plants pop.
Historic Earthy Colours
Everyone is going crazy for that rustic aesthetic, with warmth and depth added by a simple lick of paint! Go for neutrals in a finish that promotes naturality and intensity to give that cosy, expensive feel. Think – what would go with woods, linens and wool?
Dark Greens
Greens have been in style for a while now, and we’re not seeing them go anywhere. A dark green promotes serenity, wealth, abundance and health, and is a great way to incorporate colour without
going bright. Plus, green is surprisingly easy to decorate around with its natural hues, and most colour palettes work with it.
Black
Black accents are coming back in full force, adding a level of dimension to a plain white space. With the added benefit of matching to any hardware (gold, chrome or black), if you want to go dark this Spring, black is the way to go.
